A Day at Heroes

While every day at Heroes is different, when school is in session we follow a standard schedule.

8am: Our day at Heroes starts when the children reach school. Some students are picked up from their homes early in the morning by the school van, and others find their own means of transportation. Once they have arrived, they start the day by learning different activities such as counting, singing, and writing.

10 am: Following their first lessons, the children have breakfast and then move back to the classroom to continue working on their academic skills. At the same time, students are provided with clinical services, such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, to address their individual needs. The center’s therapists and teachers regularly assess each child and work together to establish their treatment approach.

1 pm: The children have lunch through our school meal program, which provides them with a hot meal. After lunch, we focus on teaching children different activities of daily living including washing, cleaning, and going to the bathroom.

3:30 pm: We close our school day at this time, and the students return to their homes.
