Heroes Day Center & Early Intervention Programme
An integrated Day Center that supports children with severe disabilities.
Parents of children with disabilities face a lot of challenges, such as:
✓ non-acceptance of the children by caregivers at home, in nurseries and schools, and other facilities for children
✓ prejudices that children with disabilities are unable to learn
✓ poverty and lack of resources to attend to the needs of the children
✓ conflicts in families about causes and cure of disability
APEH believes that children with disabilities, like all children, need attention, care, warmth, and dedication from their environment. They have the right to a decent existence; they must have the opportunity to develop skills on a cognitive, social, emotional, and physical level. They are entitled to be educated and learn a profession wherever possible, to be autonomous, and have a full place in society.
