The Heroes Christmas Party!

Thanks to all of your generous donations the Heroes Christmas party was a huge success! This year the party was hosted at the Heroes School. All of the students were invited, including our past graduates. Surprise visits were also made to the children and their families, and food was distributed to families in need.

Our teachers hand-crafted festive Christmas hats for the students. We sang Christmas songs, we danced, and all of the children received Christmas gifts.

Each group of students then took to the stage and presented a song and a dance. All were wished a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Both the children and staff had a lot of fun!

The day after the Christmas celebration, Heroes staff went on surprise home visits to all of the Heroes’ families homes. Thanks to the generous donations of many donors, dozens of families who struggle with food security were provided with enough food for an entire month. This has ensured that all of the Heroes students and their families will have enough to eat over the holidays. These visits were very exciting and heartwarming for both the Heroes staff and the children and families.

The parents of the students were very grateful to both the Heroes staff for all of their hard work and compassion, and to all of the donors that help make this possible.
