Construction Project Update: Phase 1 has been completed!

We are thrilled to share with everyone our exciting news – Phase 1 of the construction of Heroes School has been completed! The past few months have been very busy for us, with all of the administration and organizing involved in such a big project. But we can finally see tangible results of all of our hard work! The foundations have been poured!

There are many children with severe developmental disabilities in Rwanda who have limited opportunities for physical and cognitive development. This is largely due to a lack of adapted classrooms and spaces. With our new school, it is our goal to offer a chance to disadvantaged children with neurodevelopmental disabilities to reach their full potential. We hope to educate and empower them, so that they are able to fully participate in their lives be able to take part in the socio-economic development of our country.

It has not been an easy road to get here, and we know that there will be many challenges that lie ahead, but we are dedicated to our commitment to make a difference in these children’s lives. Now that our construction project has reached this milestone, we are very excited to literally see our vision come to life – it is no longer a dream, but a reality! Soon educationally disadvantaged children with disabilities from Kigali will have access to a well-equipped, adapted, and safe place to learn and grow, surrounded by our dedicated staff.

Sincerely,

Heroes Staff
